News prompt FAQ
Can ChatGPT give me today’s news?
Only through its own browsing, which is broad but hard to filter. With Context, the assistant searches news by company, ticker, or topic and filters by date range, publisher country, language, and article type, such as press releases or regulatory filings.
Can I track one specific company?
Yes. News search accepts a company name, domain, stock ticker, or ISIN, so the assistant finds coverage about that exact company instead of everything that mentions the word.
How do I get a recurring news digest?
Ask the assistant to set up a monitor for the topic or sources, or run a saved prompt on a schedule in your agent. Several prompts here are written as daily or weekly digests.
How do I install the Context.dev MCP in Claude or ChatGPT?
Add the Context.dev MCP server to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client with the MCP setup guide, or install the Context app in ChatGPT for web search and page reading. Then paste a prompt and the assistant picks the right Context tools.
Do these prompts work without Context?
They run, but without live web tools the assistant answers from its training data and can’t open the pages, files, or searches the prompt asks for. Expect older information and more guesses.
