Diana helps users investigate health questions while exploring their DNA data.
A user can ask Diana about a condition, such as high blood pressure, or provide a short, de-identified list of symptoms. Diana searches the scientific literature and builds a source-linked list of genes and genetic variants, including SNPs, reported in connection with the question.
Diana then checks the user's selected DNA file against that list. It reports which relevant variants were found and explains what each variant may mean based on the available evidence, including its possible biological effects and why it may be worth reviewing.
Users can open each finding in Gene Inspector Pro to examine the variant and supporting research in more detail.
Current research without a separate web stack
Context.dev gives Diana access to current public information in a format that can be used directly in an AI workflow. The same service also supports Gene Inspector Pro's broader literature discovery pipeline.
